The idyllic Pflerschtal valley, which extends north of Sterzing towards Brenner, offers cross-country skiers 14 kilometres of wonderful trails. The Silbertal trail is suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers, while the Erl loop trail is more demanding and perfect for experienced cross-country skiers.

Cross-country skiing in the Pfitschtal valley

The Pfitschtal valley, which extends eastwards from Sterzing, offers variety over two cross-country ski trails set in a charming high-Alpine landscape The first is a 20 km loop trail over open terrain that leads from the locality of St. Jakob to the local sports centre. The other, a 5 km easy loop trail in the locality of Kematen, is especially suitable for beginners or as a warm-up circuit. Parking and refreshments are available in the vicinity of both trails.
