The Ratschings/Jaufen ski area

The Ratschings-Jaufen ski resort extends between 1,300 and 2,150 metres of altitude. It is one of the most advanced and snow-sure ski areas in all of South Tyrol, offering winter athletes 25 kilometres of ski and snowboard slopes for every taste and level. The offer is rounded off by a toboggan run and a fun park, and with eight cutting-edge lifts, guests can climb to the slopes and back quite comfortably.
Ratschings ski school and Kinderland: a ski school specialising in courses and entertainment for children, offering the latest in ski teaching and family-friendly courses.
Skiservice Center: located directly by the valley station, this hire shop with its modern hire system offers the latest technology, a high level of comfort and a wide choice of premium quality products, as well as individual assistance and testing facilities.
Culinary variety: explore the local flavours with the delectable specialities served at the many huts and restaurants by the slopes. The NEW Summit restaurant by the mountain terminal is worth a visit, too!
Natural toboggan run: five kilometres long and outstandingly well kept, the Ratschings toboggan run at 1,850 metres is easily reached thanks to the cable car.

The Rosskopf ski area in Sterzing
Rosskopf-Sterzing is a family-friendly ski area located just a few minutes from B&B Almarett. Its four lifts allow you to reach the slopes at 1,860 metres in no time. A great choice for families, beginners and winter sports enthusiasts in general, it offers a total of 16 km of pistes in different degrees of difficulty, with a good choice of cosy huts and restaurants for a tasty break between descents. Facilities include a cross-country ski trail and a natural toboggan run – a true winter wonderland for young and old!
Sterzing ski school: the ski school was awarded the Gold seal for the quality of its services. It’s the ideal choice for beginners and children in particular, with the Joghurt Kinderland – a kindergarten on snow where budding ski champions are in the best of hands. And while your children practise under the watchful eye of highly trained ski instructors and childminders, you can finally make time to enjoy the wonderful slopes and views.
Ski hire: a cutting-edge hire system, the latest technologies and maximum comfort. The hire shop also features a test centre to help you find the perfect products from a wide choice of winter sports equipment./p>

Natural toboggan run: the 10-kilometre-long, illuminated natural toboggan run descending from Mt. Rosskopf to Sterzing is currently the longest snow-sure toboggan run in Italy – a real highlight for the whole family!
